Thanks Fmm for your concern. No, I didn't have comprehensive, but it's just wrong that some oncoming traffic can cross to my side of the road and slam into the front of my car and I have to cover the loss/cost/inconvenience/time, when they cruise off scott free.

I was recently hit by a truck coming towards me on the wrong side of a mountain road near Monchique. Fault 100% his. He drove off without stopping but I got his matriculation/reg number.
