Hopefully they will be bringing it into the 21st Century - it has become a little tired. A spruce up should be most welcome and encourage even greater opporunities to stop, linger and chat rather than fight the traffic. The web cams are great.

Great it cannot be too soon and if the place is a little quieter because of the economic crisis then it's a good time to do it.

There is no provision for creating a username and password - any ideas please?

We found the shop in Albufiera and bought some bits and pieces but our digital piano was bought from Jumbo - Box at the Faro Shopping Centre just past the airport turn off. Good service at both.

Hi Gary and Gaynor - the Almansor is a good hotel but we do not know when they allow the pool to be used, it looks like it may be OK. The Mirachoro is nearer for us to take children to and I understand that they are working on an indoor pool at the moment - perhaps someone on here will know about it?

We have had our own apartment for the past year in Carvoeiro but without a pool and as we are here a lot during the winter we would like to be able to use an indoor pool and possibly an outdoor pool in summer. We would of course pay for this and use the restaurant/bar too if there is one available. ...

Well done to whoever placed the twinkling illuminated Santas Train on the new landscaped hillside on Estrada do Farol in the village. It really cheered us up on this cold evening.
