Thank you everyone ( including Pato) for the advice .Interesting that the limit is 2.5 m. The exisitng wall is built using 150mm thick blocks without any piers . Does anyone know if I can go to 1.7 ish without piers?

Re: Solar Electricity - is it worth the investment?
Interesting to hear that Widge's electric costs are high as mine have escalated an awful lot this year without that much increase in consumption.Mine runs around Euro 250 per two month period.I think that if you are on a hight potencia then the standing charge is higher but the unit costs remain the...

Re: Monte Servo - Break ins
Totally agree with all you say Alf - I would so dearly love to catch them at it. There is I believe a local guy who was hired by house owner up there to patrol around this area at night and was able to pass on some number plate info to the GNR who then caught a bunch of the ^%*$*$**$ 's with incrimi...

Monte Servo - Break ins
They are at again on Monte Servo Two burglaries within the last week during time at which houses were occupied. GNR suspect they are opportunists looking at easy targets when people are careless leaving windows / doors / gates open. GNR advise that these people cruise around during the day looking f...

Re: Property Tax
Graham,
Where is the company domicled? Is it in a 'black jurisdiction such as Gib . I believe those with offshore properties in somwhere like Delaware or Malta wil not be subjected to such extreme property tax hikes..
