Thats the sort of thing i was on about that could be really helpful

But as i said before it doesn't have to be a sattelite image just a location on a map for people to be able to find it easier

I was thinking as people are suggesting decent supermarkets and which ones to possibly avoid because they are too expensive or have a lack of variety. It would help people choose which one they want to head for instead of just going out and travelling longer then they need to to find a supermarket a...

Maybe but it gives you a reference point on a map of where to go. You dont need to use the sattelite image just the map.

Sorry Simon, but I am old fashioned and prefer to drive around with my eyes open. Carvoeiro/Lagoa is hardly central london. leave your sat nav and home and enjoy the drive and experience of occaisionally taking the wrong turn and finding somewhere you did not know about. You are on holiday enjoy it...

I know its probably a bit of an ask, but is there anyway that someone can mark these supermarkets on a map (google maps maybe) so that its easy for people to find or put into a satnav?

Ah right, well there will be 9 of us in total 6 Adults 2 babies and 1 child. Looks like getting one small car and doing shuttle runs between the villa and beach/town may be a good idea!!

Ok thinking of a 9 seater now. What is parking like near the beach/town. I'm guessing it will be a transit sized people carrier so wont fit in normal parking spaces that easy. Will there be many problems with parking to anyones knowledge??

We have been getting quotes for transfers from Faro and have got it down to €110 each way. That is for 6 Adults 2 Infants & 1 Child.

Does that sound a good price?
