Re: Burgled again - the straw that broke the Camel's back

It is so easy now to take a dog to the UK . Why would anybody anybody need to rehome one yet again ? I wish people would work at a rescue centre now and again and see just how this affects faithful dogs, it screws their mind up forever

Re: landlord's neglect keeps by business closed

Joanne Did anything ever become of the possibility of taking the change in the trespasse law to the European court ? it seems the landlord is taking advantage of this despicable government decision and yet another reason it should be followed up on a EU basis .

Re: Fiscal Representation

Just to point out we nearly had problems with regard to having a fiscal rep. When we bought we had not yet become residents, we had still to move over ( which we did 2 weeks later after the purchase was finalised ) and at the time it wasn't so easy or a quick to do, so our abogardo suggested we put ...

Re: Contradictions

I think the removal guy is pulling your chain , he may be busier with many of the removal companies no longer being able to afford trucks of their own and thus they sub contract the work out to some of the bigger transport companies but 3 a week - very doubtful .

Re: insulting rental offer

Sorry but just to answer your original question " what is going on ?? " it sounds as if you may not be aware that there is a financial crisis going on and people are having to look for the cheapest deal possible - rather than be insulted try some negotiation. I have just recently sold a property in ...

Re: Help needed understanding new law of Trespasse

We tried to buy a life long trespasse bar 2 years ago. We gave all the details to our lawyer and as far as we were concern everything was going on fine, we waited while the owners offered the trespasse back to the owners as you have to and transferred the required amount from the UK. We even bought ...

Re: UK Foreign & Commonweath Office & GNR - WARNING

Yes thank you EMM at last someone sees my point - the Spanish are determined not to put there head in the sand and do something to stop their country going down the pan and thankfully the goverment are listening. Spain is determined not to have to agree to Germanies terms as Portugal has now had to ...

Re: UK Foreign & Commonweath Office & GNR - WARNING

No the Portuguese just stole the value of lifelong leases from anybody who is unfortunate to have one, many people losing thousands in collateral. The Spanish government is being totally fair with people who did not follow the building regulations law and in most cases changing the law to help them ...

Re: UK Foreign & Commonweath Office & GNR - WARNING

Have you heard yourselves ?, or at least half of you. Portugal is up poop street without a paddle and you are complaining about paying legally required taxes ? Give me a break. I left Portugal for Spain knowing it was coming and they would hit you where ever possible. Oh and by the way you now owe S...
