It worked!

Folding electric cool bag worked brilliantly. Not too heavy in my case and chilled drinks perfectly for the beach. It even came with a selection of 2 & 3 pin adaptors.

Just returned to UK from CVO. We ate twice at Casa Algarvia - the steak on a stone was to die for, the staff very friendly and food reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Hi Baggysallyjane

Yes we live in sunny Weymouth, home of the 2012 Olympic sailing events.

Traffic here is a nightmare now during the summer, heaven knows how we'll cope during the Olympics

Cool bag arrived today (2 days after order- not bad) It is fairly light and compact, I was very happy with it until wifey told me Aldi were selling them for £20 last month!!!! She likes to kick the stool from under me. Oh well, when we're on the beach in 10 days time and she wants a nice cold beer.....

wee Beanz, We are going to the Sol this year just as a taster for CVO. Next year we plan two weeks at an apartment. The kids are going to bring friends with them next year so we'll need a 3-bed apartment or villa in CVO. I too prefer all the mod-cons - beer fridge, tv, sun beds...and, of course the ...

That's easy if you buy the drinks cold and have several large flasks. If you buy the drinks and they're not cold what do you do? I've thought about an electric cool box but don't think it'd be classed as hand luggage on the plane. :?:

Hi All
Just 2 weeks to we arrive....
One question- Our Hotel room (Sol) doesn't have a fridge. Any suggestions for keeping drinks cool on the beach?

restaurant prices

Hi All We will be making our first visit to CVO in August, staying at the Carvoeiro Sol. As it is B&B basis we will be eating out every day. Most of the restaurants on here sound fabulous, but with two strapping sons it may prove expensive! Any idea of rough costs for meal for 4 with drinks ...
