Don't know of any hostels James but I did stay at the Baselli's Pensione in Carvoeiro and as I remember it wasnt expensive.Standing on the beach its high up on your left.You reach it by walking up estrada do farol and the first turning on your right.You follow this road up to it.I stayed there some ...

Hi Tricky,yes we always enjoyed our takeaways from this restaurant.It was a treat once a week.The old chap used to cook chicken on the BBQ but I heard that he died.They were very nice people there.Sometimes we sat in there and had a meal.The almond tart was really good.I could eat some of that piri ...

Always enjoyed our take aways from this place in Lagoa.Not just piri piri but also the almond tart and from what Mum tells me they are still just as good.
