Wonder if anyone can assist me please?
Its some info on the above Jazz club in Monte Carvoeiro..
Ive tried to get onto the 'Algarvelive' website ..the 'forum' there but the page isn't coming up!
I wanted to send Falcon(Nick) a PM regarding the place but cannot.
My Jazz friends are out to Algarve by next week and they want me to make some contact with Manoels..
They have a gig at 'Stevie Rays' club in Lagos on Fri 11th...
But would be interested in doing one at Manoel's!
Can anyone advise/help me please?.I want to give them some details before end of this week if possible..

Manoel's will have live music Monday night, usually Beto is there with his group. Pas plus pas moins.

Afternoon Nick!
Thanks for that info...Ive also taken tel.no.for Manoel's...
My jazz friends 'Toni & Ken Baxter'(Toni's the singer ..Ken always had his own jazz band).. flew out to Algarve today for couple of weeks...as Ive mentioned above they're performing at Lagos Fri.week but I have their hotel number so Ill give them a call at weekend.
Im not sure..but Im wondering/hoping they maybe hoping to fix something in Carvoeiro area..which would be great!

as Im not sure I will be able to get along to their gig on the 10th

They have been going for a long time now..been all over includ. States as well as Europe...alongside greats like Cleo Laine/Johny Dankworth....
and performed for long time in Digger's neck of the woods!
Theyre often at Vilamoura and been at the Cafe Inglese in Silves..
So fingers crossed they may be in CVO some time!
p.s. Nick.Im not out till Mar 9th..so itll be Anteak on 10th for me(next week!)

Who are these jazzers please?
My husband may know them as he works in the music industry. If they have names, let's spread the word!

Sorry, have just read your post again and the names of the jazzers were there. John doesn't know them, but that's not to say they don't play a mean tune. Let us know how they get on if they do the CVO gig.

Margie...they are new aquaintances of mine from last year..
some years back now ,they did perform mostly in the Lisbon-Caiscais area for about 15 years or so.
Im not sure whether I will get to see them Mar 11th in Lagos..of course I would love to,but its a question of transport there and back so it doesn't seem very likely..
Yes..if something should get sorted for CVO area ..Ill definitely put post about it.......ellie
