Also if for some reason the font will not reduce it may be browser settings. Switch off your PC and re-log on and that will work.

Often the fonts on my AOL and Yahoo accounts do the same thing and get 'static. Thus, need' to restart the PC.

Despite all efforts to get us to convert to metric as in grams, kilos, litres etc one thing seems destined to remain imperial........................I'm talking about the humble willy as in 6 inches never 14 centimetres. Speak to Julia about this Bruce !!!! :D

Underneath the advanced search word on the top right of the messages should be a symbol A with a downward pointing arrow on the left and upward on the right - click on that.

All clicking on those arrows does toggle me from small to microscopic. Turning off and re-booting doesnt change anything.

This is so bloody frustrating....any more ideas guys??.....PLEASE!!

You can do one of two things.

Scan the PC to see if it has picked up a virus assuming you have anti-virus software! If not McAfee do free trial periods where you can download software that will pick up and destroy any malicious programmes on websites you may have encountered. The most innocuous websites can attack your computer's software without you realising it.

If you have recently downloaded a film, music clip or programme that may be the very likely cause of the virus.

A few years back my PC picked up a virus(before I had anti sofware) and half of the keyboard characters did not work and also very miniscule fonts came on the screen.

Or:

If your PC allows it, then go to the restore programme. That will place your computer in settings it had before this problem happened. It does no affect any documents you may typed up or downloaded music files etc. It restores the inner settings of your PC.

Try this very simple thing:

Hold down Control and press +
Try that a couple of times. Each time the text should grow.

FYI: Ctl and - will make it shrink, so its possible you may have inadvertantly clicked that combination.

If that fails, what browser are you using ?
There is usually a zoom control, but its different for each browser.

Press at the same time: Ctrl and zero.

To make it bigger press Ctrl and +
