May Newsletter
As usual, an excellent newsletter.
This bit made me laugh: "The Tug-O-War competition saw some young, strong young men (and Bob) take to the rope for Harry's Bar . . ."
Great sense of humour.
Is it possible to have a profile of this fine author? It'd be interesting to know a bit more about her.

Re: May Newsletter
I am a little concerned. Margarida recommends a bikini and Wellington Boots to combat the mixed weather. Is that for the men as well??

Re: May Newsletter
"Oi Oi Saveloy!" That is an English language colloquialism expressing delight at seeing something.
Steen has something in common with John Smith, the captain of the Titanic. John Smith struck an iceberg and Steen struck pure luck when he landed Margarida for the newsletter job.
Excellent edition yet again. It is also a truthful reflection on CVO; the good and the the not-so-good. That is what makes the newsletter so appealling.
Thank you Margarida. We can be ashored of your continual monthly excellent editions.

Hi Gaynor. I am also over in three weeks. So with you busted toe I might recognise you hobbling along and get to share that drink we have mentioned in the past. Your poorly toe could be your equivalent of carrying a copy of The Times and wearing a red rose for indentification. I am staying in town this time near Harry's Bar so I am sure we will "bump" into each other.

Re: May Newsletter
Congratulations! This is a very interesting newsletter again, you always make my day with that.
It helps me to keep CVO in mind, while we are back in germany. We will be out there in Carvoeiro in a fortnight - not directly from duesseldorf as usual but from lisbon, where we stay for the first time for four days...

Re: May Newsletter
I hope you enjoy Lisbon, there are plenty of places to visit, and the trolley cars are a must for getting around, hope you don't have any loose fillings though
