24 hours and I shall (nearly) be there. Can't wait to use the A22 and then sit back mid-January and watch my credit card bill creep up and up.

Re: Tolls on the A22 - The Map
When I did the calculation it was not as a mean Scotsman, but I have always come off at that junction.
I wonder how many will get caught out with their satnav being out of date – no tolls update! Will the Care Hire companies warn anyone?

That's why I did the pdf document. I have already got one printed out and my trusty navigators Tom Tom and Sharen will be my guides.Sinkie wrote:....I wonder how many will get caught out with their satnav being out of date – no tolls update! Will the Care Hire companies warn anyone?

Not left home yet - but we will be soon. Staying over at the airport for a nice early start tomorrow.
Re: Tolls on the A22 - The Map
I used to exit at junction 6 (Lagoa) but found the Alcantarilha junction much better, much quicker access onto the 125 and quick exit just as you enter Lagoa. Most times hardly had to even slow down when entering the roundabout at Alcantarilha but no doubt that has changed dramatically over the past 2 days
