We paid tolls from Lisbon to Cabanas de Tavira and back along the part of ther motorway and for crossing one of the bridges.
Toll £18 approx each way and toll for bridge about £1.50

According to that article

The new Government will decide on that issue soon.

Which, means we're unlikely to see any decision on Tolls this year

Now it seems it will may be introduced in September according to sources close to the government. You have to admire the protesters for keeping up a spirited fight but it looks a done deal. A case of when and not if!
