Re: Bar Reviews
Well I will have to trust you on that one. Perhaps Gary can enlighten us furtherHampshireRich wrote:You been reading the menu on your camera again Stevie - can't beat sensitized gels on your bare bulbs whilst overexposing your ring flash eh!Stevie-C wrote:You really are a blond eh G :Gary/Gaynor wrote: Gary is off doing a spot of photography with a Danish pal in April (supposedly)

Now what does this Danish "pal" look like and what kind of "photography" are they in to?
To test him out I think you should as him if he is familiar with these photography terms, bare bulb, sandwiching, testshots, resampling, shooting, smear, subordinate object, enlargement, enlarger, ring flash, gels, sensitized, slide, red eye, headshot, low key, speed, exposure, viewpoint, mask, monopod, mount, multiple flash, retouch, open up, overexpose, extension tubes, release, shooting distance, saturation, stain and washing agent, oh and don't forget to ask him about a lateral chromatic abberation
Re: Bar Reviews
Zeca´s Bar - though a little far off, always a great host with a smile on his face, very hard working man. No dual-pricing system.

Always found imprevisto to be a friendly bar doesn't bother
me if the locals get a better rate.As far as the "chuckle brothers"go l have always found Paulo and Nuno to be charming and professional.Unlike many Brits who TRY to run bars and end up doing a runner without a pot to piss in.

Re: Bar Reviews
What a nasty thing to say about people you don't know.
The bar I think your referring to is run by 2 very nice people, Maybe you should pop in and say it to their faces instead of hiding on a forum and slagging people off.

Toots is a Scot. Probably objected to having to pay more than 1 euro for a beer.
However, emminently qualified to spot someone always pissed I am sure.

Odd - I must have misread this post then (from a fellow Yorkshireman!)
Shanagarry
Am I right in thinking you are of Irish descent?? If so you are probably not as qualified to comment on the quality of steak as you might think! The best beef in the World comes from Scotland. Just a small observation from a Scot!!!
Happy days
