So pleased that Daisy is doing good! She looks so cute and much much better than she did. Well done! Hope she will be very happy in her new home. Our rescue dog, (after our dog Ted disappeared last year), Zara, celebrated her 1st Birthday last week. We sort of guessed when she would be one and nominated the 15th Jan as her Birthday.. she celebrated with lots of treats :)

I also have a rescue dog - he is a treasure - he is a 6 year old black labrador and we have had him for 2 years in April. The rescue dogs are so deserving of good homes, unfortunately in the UK rescues are now inundated with dogs - supposedly due to the credit crunch.

Meeting Miss Daisy ! !

Post by iananne »

My wife and i were over during the festivities, Christmas and New Year and visited Rebelbuck and family, they are fantastic people and so loving and caring to have done so much for Daisy she now looks incredible and is a bundle of energy............she certainly won the lottery when she lay at their door......& the next door neighbours who aren't permanently residing in the Algarve and have adopted Daisy also need a special mention as i believe they have picked up a lot of the ''tab'' good on you people, i always say there cant be much wrong with people who love animals........

Hitler had a female German Sheperd given to him by Heinrich Himmler on his birthday and Hitler named the dog "Blondie"

Yes, he did, to stop her being 'interrogated' by the Allies. What a nice chap he was!

"Likening Rebelbuck to Hitler"
Don't talk nonsense. I never said that, you are twisting my comment.

It is good to see Daisy looking so well and congratulations to all who have looked after her so well.
We always had Boxer dogs in our family and there is not anything so cute as a Boxer pup.
But I have to say that after being bitten quite badly by a black Labrador I am not so keen on dogs as previous.
Good luck to Daisy and may she prosper.
