First Visit Christmas Eve

Hi We are visiting Carvoeiro for the first time (also Portugal for first time)On Xmas Eve for a short 5 day break.Staying at Colina Da Lapa Club and have car.My passions are food and music(i collect vinyl records!any second hand shops?) and scenic drives etc so firstly can anyone recommend a restaurant for xmas day as i guess i need to book! and also any restaurants that will be open during our stay that are worth checking out.Have noted some of the recommendations elsewhere in the Forum but guess a lot will be closed.Any other help for a newbie would be appreciated!!! Great forum by the way!

Suggest you might try Bella Vita at Club Atlantico I called by the other day they advertised a super menu for Chrismas Day [ 45 euros] the phone number is 282 358 556. Or I would also recommend A Vela in town phone number 282 084 177. Have a good holiday .

From where you are turn right and head for Ferragudo it has some excellent fish restaurants on the harbourside, Also the restaurant at Pria Grande is worth a visit, Lunch in the sun.
