CAR BOOT SALES

AS we will no doubt have a loadof items we decide ( once shipped ) that we will not want to keep or do not need we wonder if the area has regular carboot sales ??

Yup, there are various car boot sales listed in the Resident each week.

Or, you can ask Kurt at Cheers Bar where he is a self proclaimed expert at which sale is best for which type of item

A couple of months ago I was told of an enterprising move by the GNR who were stopping UK registered cars on the approach to a car boot sale in the Sao Bras area. On being asked to show documents drivers explained away a lack of the correct documents by saying that they had just driven down from the UK for a couple of weeks holiday. They were then asked if they normally packed hat stands, boxes of crockery and electrical appliances etc etc for a beach holiday.
