O Barco
Re: O Barco
Yes but Aldo is recommending O Barco for delicious Sea Bass & Prawns. I suggest you try it & if you enjoy it too then write a review on this forum. If you've never been there or eaten there then leave the genuine reviewers alone .

Re: O Barco
Delicious " Fresh local wild sea bass and locally caught prawns " or farmed bass and de frosted prawns from the far east or mozambique.
It does matter to those who care about what food they eat , where it comes from and yes getting value for money.
If Aldo told us what price he paid it would give us a better idea even allowing for the premium places in the square charge.

Maybe Aldo can't be bothered proving himself to youEMM wrote:Delicious " Fresh local wild sea bass and locally caught prawns " or farmed bass and de frosted prawns from the far east or mozambique.

Re: O Barco
If that is the case is his review worth anything.??
He is not proving himself to me.
If Barco does serve fresh wild fish etc then it will be on our list of places to try.
If not it is just one of many , its only attraction being the location.

Re: O Barco
Exactly Bruce!
I am flabbergasted at the attitude of EMM. As an 'average Joe holidaymaker' I have dined at many restaurants in Ferragudo, Alvor, Portimao etc and only wanted to share my view that the food at O Stop and Barco tasted as good, if not better that other venues I had tried over the years and had to drive to or pay for a taxi!!
I do not feel I was asked how much I paid, it was a statement alluding to the fact that prices were not mentioned in my initial post and that EMM was just being pendantic.
I am also not complelled to answer to anyone let alone EMM and in fact and not really bothered about the price but the experience. EMM for your information I will be eating beans on toast this evening but have no idea if they are locally sourced or sent from Mars!
No wonder people are deterred from joining the forum and making contributing comments, I will certainly not bother again.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, I will be back in CVO in few weeks and no doubt eating inappropriately once more.
