Top soil

Post by Lesley Jean »

 Hiya, we are looking for approx 1 tonne of top soil, we tried the Garden centre opposite the International school but with no luck.

Does anyone know where we can get a small truck load, delivered without it costing us a fortune.

Would be grateful for your replies as we are back to the UK next week and would like to get this last piece of garden done before we leave.

Thanks in advance

Try João Carlos Granadeiro, he has a place on the road to Rocha Brava near Julio's.

Hi
There is a really good local garden centre run by a dutch chap on the north side of Lagoa - but can't remember the name. At the roundabout where the main road to Silves crosses the motorway take the 'access local' sign down an unmade road heading back towards Lagoa. Excellent prices and wide choice - they must do top soil too.

We have had excellent service from the garden centre just before you reach Lagoa from Carvoeiro. She runs the garden centre, and he does garden construction. Can't imagine they don't know how to get hold of top soil.
