We are looking at purchasing on this development....however having read earlier comments on this site (2 years old) there are some quite negative comments regarding the development and especially the Management Company.

We are also slightly concerned at the number of properties (roughly 20)currently on the market. IS THERE SOMETHING WE NEED TO KNOW ?

This is a first venture into the foreign property market and as such don't want to make an early mistake. Any help would be appreciated.

we almost bought here last year - there were problems with the management company but I thought it was sorted .The build quality is very good and from many houses there are great views .What put us off was although there is a nice pool the rest of the development seems not finished - the tennis courts have never been built and the restaurant and shops have never been let which means you have to go to Rocha Brava for food , meals ,etc .Its a shame as it could be very nice .There have always been plenty of these for sale - I think many people bought off plan many years ago and are now looking to cash in .Prices are quite high but they do seem to sell eventually .I would say they are as safe an investment as anywhere else -but there are lots to choose from at the moment

Thanks Wolfie, has put my mind at rest. Was a bit concerned that there was an underlying problem but am pretty happy that they are a reasonable bet.
