I went last week with my friend (who lives in CVO) and his daughter for lunch to the Fatacil Restaurant. Have never been there before. It was good.

You can choose from three meat dishes of the day and one fish dish.
Order the drinks you want.

As a starter there are bread, olives and the soup of the day.

For desert you can choose from different cakes and coffee and if you want you can have a brandy too.

And this all for € 7,00 p/p

Driving from CVO to Lagoa -just before it- you can turn right to the industrial park. At the roundabout go to the left and after about 250 mtrs you can enter the Fatacil at your left hand.

Large canteen style restaurant open 6 days a week (not sure about Sunday) for lunch and dinner - prato da dia as per Peter's description and a la carte also in the evening. Separate room for functions on the first floor.

Portuguese style food 7/10

Ambience 2/10

Value 10/10

We eat there 3 or 4 times a week - hope that doesn't put you off !!!!

Whereabouts in The Fatacil is it.

Start at the Del Vados (Bathroom/Kitchen showroom on the corner) ?

Go through the main gates of Fatacil showground - follow your nose and 100m ahead lo and behold is the restaurant - if you can't see it for the cars, lorries, vans ,ambulances etc. parked there, you know you are at the right place !!!!

Thank you - In the 14 years we have been in the Lagoa/Cvo area I never knew there was a permanent restaurant in there.

Must get out more

Last night we went to this restaurant. No ambience, but very neat and clean. The meal we had - grilled entrecotes - was delicious!
We certainly go back.
Thanks for the tip you gave us last week, Roy, after our flight to Conil.
Probably see you on thursday night.
