Escape to Algarve?

Is there any escape from celeb mania?
I'm sick to the back teeth of 'em! Theres no escape! They're in Big Brother house..they're on Soap super stars (or whatever its called..)..they smother the tabloids..you have 'so called' celebs interviewing other celebs....
and now they've even got them on bloody ice!

and what do most of them amount to? absolutely nothing..has beens! what talent is there? nothing (mind you at least the black guy Dennis was good at U.S.football) nothing, except plastic teeth, tits and personality.
Hard to find decent TV programmes now,except for watching old stuff and people who had real talent! I can't believe the money thats wasted on some of the mindless crap today!
Plans are in the air for our move back to Algarve...please please tell me ,that at least there I can get some respite, and an
ESCAPE FROM CELEBRITIES!!

Its all getting to me....I need a holiday..............

Of course..I forgot, they were also in the jungle as well as on the ballroom floor..but with the latter that at least required skill and there were some very good performances from certain sporting guys

P.S. Hold the front page! (well I am actually, of the Daily Express)..not seen her for ages..Victoria Beckham!

Nothing to do with CVO but the answer is the cost of these programmes is covered by the rake off the provider makes on text and phone calls to their premium numbers. As well as being cheap (in nature) they are inexpensive (in cost). The broadcasters nirvana

Sorry to say Ellie but they have the same rubbish like Big Brother and the jungle one on Portuguese TV. The Portuguese love them. They are even more obsessed with "celebs". I agree it is rubbish TV and deadly dull.

well we might have it sooner than you think...with news reports about camaras putting up cameras (or is it the other way around?) - see recent news report as next posting reveals

to think soon there will huge new departments in every junta with paid officials watching everthing we do......I do hope however that there will be a booth in carvoeiro where we can speak to big irmao about whats troubling us.

CCTV to blanket the Algarve

According to reports this week, the use of CCTV across the Algarve could be a reality by as early as May, as regional authorities look to reduce criminal acts

So Martin, does that mean they are going to be putting CCTV (and bugging devices) inside certain people's offices, departments and businesses here then? As far as I can see, most of the criminal activity in the Algarve aint on the streets.

Oh all right then...browsing. Actually, I am hidden at the moment. I couldn't work out why my name wasn't showing up any more and then realised I had ticked the "hidden" box. So, I suppose I am "lurking".
