sad to see so many animals in circus here in the algarve in cages so small they cannot even turn around

ps Virgina McKenna use to be a neighbour of ours in Surrey.
yes bears lions all in cages...often in summer with floodlights on them at night so brainless locals can look at them
perhaps portugal need shameing into action...the tour operators could do a lot as they have so much power.
years ago a friend in the uk told me there was censorship in the uk..it was called WH Smith..such was their control over news paper and book distriibution that you stood little chance of success if they didnt like you
nowadays companies are bigger than countries (tescos annual figures are equal to some countries g.n.p)
so make as much fuss to tour firms as you can.
