I am sure all the research that is done is hugely appreciated and of incredible value to those who live in the 'right place' what a terrible shame it is then posted in a PM rather than being made available to everyone - and lets remember in this in case it was a question about duvets rather than anything '"sensitive".

I have made no comments about, and neither did guest really, the lack of replies - we know they are coming or being dealt with by PM which appears to be the norm these days - the comments were about the banter, chat and 'in' jokes being on the the wrong thread.

And talking of snide - what would I know after all I live in the UK

Firstly Maddi..... the comment was not in anyway aimed at you.

As for the delay in answering the question on where to acquire Duvets here in the Algarve.

The new shop in Guia had to be checked that it sold Duvets.

Linda's shop in Alvor originally did not sell Duvets i.e. the last time we contacted her she said that she was thinking about it...so again had to be checked and Linda has also changed her opening hours.

Yes your right this subject of course would not be viewed as sensitive.

Yeah, yeah... I saw your post - very good!

However, I can't act for toffee and I point blank refuse to be driven by anything with more brains than me. That's why I drive knackered old cars and don't ride horses...
