Oh that's a shame we arrive 6 O'clock at night so will miss out - shame would have been nice to meet !! As for Dave I drove my family mad going on about him after we discovered the Jailhouse in 2012 ! It was mine and other half's first holiday on our own in 30 years and must admit to feeling slightly nervous how it would pan out BUT finding the Jailhouse and Dave transported us back to being 20 again and we had the most fantastic time so absolutely love the man !!!!! Brought all my family to Carvoeiro in Sept hoping they would fall in love with the place as we have and they did , my daughter couldn't wait to meet the legendary Dave ! although she did say " Mum you do realise he doesn't always sing the right words - which (due to the copious amount of alcohol) I hadn't noticed lol

Likewise Smudger home now to freezing cold rain , we've got our flights booked end September for 10 days . Think my old man will be back out before then lol . Had a great week weather was fantastic , really hot . Met another forum user goes by the name of Tigger , interesting to put some faces to names .

Whats the best restaurant for kids around the area.My partner really likes Rustico's but wasnt that impressed last time i was their.

Town was fairly busy when we were there , most restaurants were busy in the evenings . All the usual bars Roundup , Hemingways Rascals were busy when we were in . Beach was fairly quiet despite some Fab weather .
