Contrast to the Roundup which we passed on the way home 12.30 ish, full with the song stranglers in full voice ??. Lots of younger visitors drinking outside many very much the worse for wear.
I hope that Will does not fall foul of the GNR because of the behaviour of some of his customers.
Were the "younger visitors" actually causing trouble though?

To be honest apart from them taking up all the pavement we were half expecting to see a technicolor yawn from one individual who was being supported by friends as he was incapable of walking.
We were also told this morning ( not confirmed ) of a fight outside of Mungos last week in the early hours where some one was stabbed " by a girl !! .
There are many locals who lve near or above these bars who as Bradys found are only too quick to call the GNR .
I think that Will should try and keep his punters inside and the pavements clear for everyone else or at least send away the ones in obvious distress.

There is something incredibly insincere about this statement.

Far far from it Widge.
Carvoeiro is not Albufeira and why should anyone over a certain age have to avoid parts because the clientele get over enthusiastic. The Roundup may not be everyones cup of tea but it is part of the Carveoiro night scene and it would be a shame to see Will subject to the controls enforced on others who do not attract this customer base, because of the behaviour of some of his customers and complaints for local residents.

EMM's views on The Roundup & the people who enjoy Karaoke singing have been (as usual) greatly expounded upon on this forum, if the GNR do pay Will a visit he'd be high on the list of rat suspects,

but he's shooting himself in the foot here, slagging off Albufeira and people who like to come on holiday to enjoy themselves singing karaoke will drive them elsewhere; his 2 properties are probably just about worth the bricks they're built with, if more people stop coming they'll be worth little more than the cement that holds the breeze blocks together, his mission to turn Carvoeiro into Eastbourne sur Mer is a double edged sword :o

What a sad man you are Sunman,

I know that you have difficulty reading and understanding but for your benefit I will again say that I think that it is in Wills interest and those who do enjoy the Roundup that the area outside of it does not become the local equivalent of a UK town centre at night.
Carvoero is mainly family resort and we followed couples pushng strollers who struggled to find ther way through this crowd to get down to the taxi rank.
This type of visitor will not come in to the centre if they are made to feel uncomfortable because of the behaviour of a small minority.

We are the ones who can be seen running past the Roundup with our fingers in our ears as some " drink relaxed "individual destroys a well known song. If I was unfortunate to live above it like Bradys neighbours I would be calling the GNR ...

Out of date and no sense of humour as usual Sunman.
Bradys did have a real problem wiith noise and lost their music permit because of complaints.
They have spent a lot of money on noise reduction measures and close the doors during live performances which have to finish at midnight.
As I sad in an earlier post if you are interested, Bradys is probably the best venue in Carvoreiro for live musuc and deserves far more recognition than it gets.
No crowds of drunken youths loitering outside.
You are absolutley right when it comes to Karaoke, a cheap way of providing entertainment as those those many poor unfortunates who think they can sing provide endless amusement for others in the bar.
I have no wish to be involved in their public humiliation.
