Bristol flights

Post by Polly »

The Easyjet flights for the end of Sept 2013 are now available. We have booked our return flights at the end of Sept, they are not as cheap as last year, or on our outbound flight.

Yes, the flights came online in the early hours yesterday.
Booked our flights for September yday morning at 7.30. I have been watching the Ejet website at least 5 times a day for last few weeks!
Easyjet email alerting about release of flights arrived in my inbox this morning - effectively 24 hours late.

As Polly has said they are more expensive than previous years. Paid £45 more than same time this year for the two us. I guess price of aviation fuel and the 'Thomas Cook' effect has helped increase prices on some Ejet routes.

Went back into Ejet this morning and 24 hours on from making the booking the price for our flights has already increased by £100 since yday morning.
It certainly aint cheap anymore - hope it doesnt put people off from coming to The Algarve.

We booked our return flight for sept, Having booked the August flight out some time ago.
For some reason Sept even late sept is very expensive.
Oct is good value though.
Are we seeing the effects of the tour companies block booking on EJ etc resulting in reduced capacity and hence higher prices for others.

I could've booked our 'Out' flight for 1st week of Sept weeks ago but being a once/year visitor would've had to pay for 20kg luggage twice i guess, as would've booked return flight yday and another luggage charge.

I noticed that Thomas cook package holidaymakers were able to book package hols for all Sept 13 way before Ejet released the flights yday, so blocks of seats were already booked on some of the slots.
