SofaVIP
Anyone been to the Lagoa showroom lately. We tried a couple of times and it was locked up with a big chain and padlock across the inside of the door. Hope they haven't gone under. I can't get on their website either.

Re: SofaVIP
So much for getting our broken zip repaired under warranty
Re: SofaVIP
That's a shame - the bedroom furniture came from SofaVip (having gone in to look at sofas) about 5 years ago and still looks good - I'd been thinking about buying another chest of drawers but obviously can't now.....

First laserblazer has a radiator in AKI for repair and it burns down. Now laserblazer has a sofa needing repair in Sofavip. The moral of the story: don't shop in the same shops as laserblazer.Interesting! We have (had) a radiator in AKI for warranty repair. I wonder if Leroy Merlin will honour it? I did wonder when I first heard of the fire but it seems it started in DeBorla.

Just maybe laserblazer the clue is in the name......
Serious point buy your stuff in the UK and ship it over it is way better quality at a fraction of the price...we saved close on £25k doing this

Re: SofaVIP
Point taken but we were sent a letter from AKI advising us that the radiator was a heap of molten iron and to send our bank details so they can refund us.Serious point buy your stuff in the UK and ship it over it is way better quality at a fraction of the price
The quality of the SofaVIP stuff was very good, it's the quality of some of the guests that leaves a lot to be desired! The staff at SofaVIP and the place opposite, that has closed down, were lovely and it's a shame to think they might be out of work now.
Re: SofaVIP
I think that it has been closed for a few months, we heard of at least on customer who had paid a deposit and was trying to get their money back.
