Installation starts today, so hopefully out for a couple of days next week to check it all out. I'll let all of those who are interested know how things go?

Hi

Cheap no good, good no cheap. If Mr Cool (Telmo) says he will be there at 10 he will be and he never asked me for any money up front and as a result I have now used him on 3 occasions - never late and the equipment (General) is first class!!!!

Mr Cool installed our aircon two weeks ago with a full team of employees including one we know has been with him for some time.
Everything was done on time and officially ,full factura etc.
He did some other work for us, fitted a new pool timer.
He appears to be very busy and we have seen him around the village doing work.

Sound like the CVO rumour machine at work again

Could have saved yourself 23% if you didnt have the factura, that is unless your claiming it back.

We have had a few quotes now,and SACL were very competitive, think we will be going with them.

The Daikin units have now been installed, so I'm trying to fly out on Friday to have a look at everything and to settle the invoice, assuming everything is satisfactory. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Everything is now installed, and a great job completed by Paul Whitworth. Very clean and tidy, and a superb installation, so I would have no hesitation in recommending him. :D

QdP has just told me that one of our bedroom units no longer works and cannot be repaired. They have quoted a totoal of €725 to fit a new indoor and outdoor unit. Can anyone tell me if this seems reasonable please? We won't be out until late October so cannot shop around that easily. It's 9000 btu

Sounds reasonable, but I'd still have a go at negotiating down if you can?
