Sunday arrival

Can you please tell me what time the supermarket opens until on a sunday? our flight arrives sunday lunchtime and I am worried we cannot get the essentials as everything will be closed on sunday afternoon
Should I stock up for my two children under 4 or will SOMETHING be open on sunday afternoon - any opening times and place to shop would be of great help

Intermarche is closed at 1pm on Sunday - I think - but Modela is probably open in Lagoa and Plus is open just to get you started.

Modelo also close at 1pm on Sundays, Plus is now Pingo Doce and opens until 8 or 9pm.

The small supermarkets in the village usually stay open until 9 or 10pm in summer

1 on Rua dos Pescadores,
2 on Rua do Barranco,
1 on Estrada do Farol and
1 on Rua do Cerro.

There is also a supermarket on Rocha Brava, and round the corner in Algarvesol next to Centeanes beach - no need to starve
