I know I have probably missed it somewhere in all these posts, but does anyone know what his opening hours will be up to Christmas. Michael and I arrive 22 December and would like to be able to buy some meat from him for Christmas Day.

I think he will be open until around 2pm Christmas Eve

If you know what you want for Christmas Day, Sharen, it may be as well to call John and place an order. Think 23rd and 24th December could be busy. The number is 282 356005.

Gary and I just arrived back (last night

) from CVO, Regarding the Blue Rock butchers, WOW wonderful meat, had the most suberb fillet steak I have ever had. Friendly service, if this guy doesn't make a success out of this business I will not only eat my flip flop but every ounce of fillet he can throw at me. Try the Biltong south african dried meat mmm....Robbie I know you have ordered yr meat as you had just off the phone to the butcher when we walked in there end of last week, so your Xmas is well and truly sorted nothing to worry about there.
