2 bed apartment

Post by blue »

We have friends who are looking to buy a 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Carvoeiro, does anyone know of anything? Have looked in the real estate section but not much there & some of the places have been on there forever, so don't know how up to date the websites are. :?

Worthwhile contacting local agents by email to get updates. Carleton and Vernon both very good.
You will also find that alot of properties are on with multiple agents.

You might like to suggest Monte Dourado. The estate agent is DSA (on the out road) We bought ours 2 years ago and have not been dissappointed. Our friends and family who borrow it from time to time also love it! It's just the right distance from the town to be fairly quiet and only 7 minutes walk from the sea.

Amongst other places we went to ERA in Lagoa who appeared to have the biggest selection. Bought through them - found them very professional and helpfull.

If you are looking for a bit of a steal in CVO then the new apartments being built on the out road opp Anteak bar are worthchecking out. you buy direct from the builders and therefore dont need to pay anything to those pesky agents!!!!!
I asked about them and they start at 170 euros for a T2 with 2 bathrooms all fancy mod cons(jaccuzi bath, AC, fitted kitchen, underground parking, blah blah).
The blocks are being built by two different builders and obviously the one not so finished is cheaper, if that makes sense!
Believe me, for the money they really are a good deal.
By the way, I dont work for these guys, I just like to see people get the best from CVO and not have to pay through the nose to be able to live here.

The new flats being built are nice, but there are so many of them all the same, no pool etc, and the first ones that were built still not sold, we viewed one 4 years ago and it is still for sale.....

Basically it depends on yr budget, the thing with the new ones on the outroad is that for a new apartment in CVO centre they are very resonable. Who cares about having a pool when you live 500 metres from the sea and can use one of hundreds in the area and I know they look alike but thats sort of meant to be the point, so they fit in with whats already here.
If you have the money then you can buy anything you want really as I have found that everything is for sale here always (flats, bars, land, etc) for the right price.
