As there is a lot of demand for the walk on Monday, David and Mieke will be doing an additional walk:

The popular Two Rivers walk by the confluence of the Arade and the Odelouca rivers around the Ilha de Rosario. A fairly easy walk with nice views of the river and Silves, about 9km.

Start : 10.00, but please try to arrive at the start by 9:45

Duration : About 2 hours.

Degree of difficulty (Scale 1-5) : 2

Meeting point: Mira Ria Restaurant, N124

Directions: from CVO, cross the bridge into Silves & turn left on the N124 towards Monchique/Portimao. After a little under 5 km you will see the Mira Rio cafe & restaurant on your left after a sharpish right hand bend. Parking is at the café. You can also take the N124 from Portimao to Silves and the café is 5km on the right.

The restaurant should be open on Monday, so there is the possibility for lunch afterwards.

Usual caveats - all walks are at your own risk, and we do not walk if it is pouring with rain.....I will endeavour to put any cancellation note on this site by 8:30 on the day of the walk.

It’s good you have been doing an extra walk. I can’t lead a walk on the 18 March as I’m in the UK. Are any of your group able to organise one? Hope you have a nice walk and lunch and hope to see you soon.
