Walk :Christmas Walk Monday 4 December 2023 . Rasmalho CLOSED

This is our Cristmas Lunch Walk...don't forget your antlers!

But walk is now closed.

As 3 of my favourite restaurants are shut, and the one walk I know from Rasmalho is now deemed unsafe, Linda has kindly agreed to lead this one.

MEET Cafe Casa de Pasto Riba E Terinha ar Rasmalho. Directions: From the N125 at Portimao turn off and follow signs for Monchique. Go straight ahead at the roundabouts, go onto N266 direction Monchique, pass a petrol station on the left, after 1km you come into Rasmalho. The cafe is on the left. Park on the right as we will be driving a further 2kms to the start of the walk.

The cafe should be open for those wishing to arrive early for a coffee.

TIME. We will need to carshare to the start, a short drive away, so need to leave the cafe at 0945. If you want a coffee and to choose lunch, best be there about 0930.

LUNCH. We will have lunch at the cafe. They do a range of grilled pork and chicken.

Degree of difficulty : probably grade 3.

Usual caveats: all walks are at your own risk, and we do not walk if it is pouring with rain.....I will endeavour to put any cancellation note on this site by 0800 on the day of the walk.

Walking boots/stout trainers , walking pole(s), hats and water recommended. No charge, of course.

Numbers will be limited to 20, so it is essential to respond below if you want to come. Please also state whether you will want lunch .

Unfortunately i have an appointment with my solicitor on Monday morning, so i won’t be able to make the walk. I hope you and Sue have a lovely Christmas and New Year and i look forward to seeing you in 2024.
