WALK MONDAY 23 JANUARY 2023 - Ribbeiro das Canas - CLOSED

Linda and Russell will be leading this walk. It's around 10kms on mostly good tracks, no tarmac, one gradual uphill, the rest mostly flat or downhill. There are a few river crossings which should be easy to cross. There is an overgrown section which could be muddy. Usual rules: wear good footwear, bring a drink, walk at your own risk, no charge.
Meet 10am Cafe Casa de Pasto Riba E Terinha ar Rasmalho. Directions: From the N125 at Portimao turn off and follow signs for Monchique. Go straight ahead at the roundabouts, go onto N266 direction Monchique, pass a petrol station on the left, after 1km you come into Rasmalho. The cafe is on the left. Park on the right as we will be driving a further 2kms to the start of the walk.
The cafe may not be open at the start but should be open after the walk and they do a prata da dia for 10 euros. Please put your name below if you wish to walk and if you are staying for lunch.
