WALK - MONDAY 4 OCTOBER 2021 - RIBBA A TORRINHA

Meeting Point: Café Casa De Pasto Riba E Serra Time: 9:30.
The walk is 10kms and takes just over 2 hours. There are a few gradual uphill climbs, and one short steep descent, therefore it is a grade 3 walk (medium). We can enjoy some nice views of the Monchique area in open countryside. Part of the path could be over grown so there is a chance of scratched legs. The usual rules apply: wear suitable footwear, bring water, poles if you have them, no charge, walk at your own risk.
Directions to meeting point: Follow the N125 towards Portimao then turn off and follow the signs for Monchique. At the roundabout take the left turning for Monchique (N266). At the village of Rasmalho you will see the Café Casa De Pasto Riba E Serra on your left. Park on the right-hand side of the road, opposite the café. The café should be open for coffee. We will drive up to the starting point of the walk which is around 3/4kms further along near the brown sign on the right Ribba A Torrinha. Linda will be leading this walk. Numbers will be limited to 20 people, please be prepared to car share if you travel alone as parking is limited at the start. The phone contact on the day will be 0044 7960552618.
