As we didn't manage to do this classic CVO walk in October, here is another chance to do it.

It's flat along the lavada to start, has 5 minutes of back road and then is all on country tracks, many of them uphill but with quite a climb up to the windmill, but after that the paths are good and there is a gentle descent, along with some lovely views. There is a river that has to be crossed but there are usually plenty of stepping stones.

Duration : probably 2.5 hours

Degree of Difficulty ( scale 1:5 ) : the steep climb to the windmill makes it a grade 3.

Start: 10:00.....but please arrive by 09:45 if you want a coffee!

Directions : drive from Carvoeiro to Silves, go over the bridge and turn right and follow the N124 for about 3.2 kms until you see Cafe Casa de Pasto a Norinha on your left. Park in layby opposite.
