Wendy and Steve will be leading this walk. It is around 9.7kms, just over 2 hours and has a gradual climb on a loose path so bring sticks if you use them. There is also one steep climb up to the ridge. We will be walking on part of the Algarve way. Numbers are limited to a maximum of 10 people in 2 x groups of 5 walkers. The usual rules apply: wear suitable footwear, bring a drink, a walking pole if you use it, no charge, walk at your own risk and respect the social distancing rules.
Meeting point: Cafe Retiro Dos Pescadores Meeting Time: 10am. The cafe should be open for coffee. We will then drive for a couple of minutes to the start of the walk.
Directions: Go over the Silves bridge and turn right onto the N124 and drive for about 4.9kms, past 2 cafes, Casa de Pasta a Norinha and Taberna da Norinha, both on the left hand side of the road. Turn left at a sign saying: Pedreira, Pinheiro e Garrado and drive for 0.4kms then turn left and meet at Cafe Retiro dos Pescadores. Co-ordinates: 37.12.51.71N 8.23.40.92W or N37.214343 W8.394780.

If anyone wants to stay for lunch after we can drive the short distance to Cafe Norinha afterwards. They do a very nice set lunch.
