Hi all.....come for an invigorating start to St Valentine's day!

Walk will be starting at 1000 and last about 2 hours. Mainly flat, but one slow uphill slope for about 100 ms.....and a steeper descent! Lovely views!!

From Carvoeiro,drive to Silves and cross the bridge. Turn left on the N124 and drive for 9.2km through the vilages of Falacho and Odelouca. Just outside Odelouca, where there is a right hand bend, there is an old blue house on the left. Immediately opposite this, turn right by signs for a new development. After about 100m, park on left by a small cafe.

Stout trainers or boots and a walking pole recommended.

Hi Geoff. I confirm that I will be joining you again on Monday.

We had our best turnout , 15 walkers and some new faces ( lan and Trish, Gwen, Dick and Fran , Nick & Wilma) as well as a welcome return for Ken and Avril , Rob & Maureen, Yvonne & David.
The weather was kind to us, the rain holding off until we were safely back and having a coffee at the cafe.
Look forward to meeting you all again on other walks, though we won't be back till April.

Before we set off.....Rob's faith in wearing shorts was justified ( just!)
