Thought we had better give details of the NYE walk......same as last time, I am afraid , but it is a lovely walk and at least there shouldn't be snow on the ground! Work up an appetite and a thirst for the evening!

Meet at 1000 , outside the cemetery in Silves & walk up to the windmill & loop back via the beautiful countryside beyond. About 2 to 2.5 hours......we could always do the walk in reverse if you have done it before.

Directions: driving from CVO to Silves , go over the bridge & turn right. At the roundabout , turn left towards the town & the cemetery is about 100m on the right.

No charge , of course.

There are a couple of brief, steep sections. Wear walking boots or stout trainers : poles are a good idea.A raincoat might be an idea.

It would be helpful if you could indicate if you can come please. Hope to see you all there.

Well done for doing another NYE walk. We will be out again the same time as you but the weather is looking yuk for Friday so (being fair weather walkers) we probably won't join you this time - hope you get a good turn out and may catch up with you another time.

Good to hear from you...don't worry, if it was raining, we wouldn't walk anyway!
However, Sue was ill last night and we had to miss our flight, so won't be coming out after all! I must find a way of putting this on the forum!
