Meet at 1000.

Meet outside the cemetery in Silves & walk up to the windmill & loop back via the beautiful countryside beyond. About 2 hours. (Directions: driving from CVO to Silves , go over the bridge & turn right. At the roundabout , turn left towards the town & the cemetery is about 100m on the right).

No charge , of course.

There are a couple of brief, steep sections. Wear walking boots or stout trainers, and bring some water if its warm/hot. A walking pole could also be useful.

Just to add that our flights to Portugal for last friday and today ( sunday) have been cancelled, our fingers are crossed for a rebooking on 21 April. If it is cancelled again, I am afraid the walk will be off ( unless someone else volunteers to doit?

Just to say that 6 of us had a great wakk yesterday, the rain kept off & the wild flowers were stunning. An added bonus was that the windmill was open ( rather, the door was missing) & you could go in & see all the renovated machinery.
