Are there any walks / rambles planned between 23rd June and 3rd July?

Hi Charles
Unless you find some volunteers , may I suggest the Almancil Hash House Harriers who have a weekly walk at 6pm on a monday : the keen ones run! Beer , water & a supper are provided for 5 euros. Details of the run are posted in the preceeding week at www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Park/6197
They are good company & its a fun evening as well as getting a nice walk in the cool of the day.

Did you see Paul Merton's China TV documentary on "Channel Five" (June, 2008), where he meets the Canton City Hash House Harriers? He'd never seen a hash before joining in for the afternoon. They explained the origins of the hash and the make up of UK, US, German and Chinese hashers there. He didn't look too impressed with the circle with all the familiar songs. And was shocked with the Camel Toe competition. As half of the hashers were Chinese women looking for a man with money he concluded that it was just a pick-up scene which was backed up by a large number of Hash weddings. I hope the Almancil Hash House Harriers steer well clear of camel toes!
