Walk February 25, Rocha Delica Trail
Walk February 25, Rocha Delica Trail
We will be walking the Rocha Delicada 8 km circular trail near Alvor for about two hours. This is a flat trail with only one small hill.
Directions: West on EN 125 towards Lagos. After Figueira and before Mexihoeira Grande there will be a sign on the left to Estacao. Turn here and we will meet in the station parking lot. (Note: it takes less than 30 minutes from Lagoa to get there).
Meeting time: 10:00 a.m.
Any questions call Brian at either 282 351 674 or 965 528 842. Usual provisos about the weather, and walks are at your own risk.

If I was a cynic.........which obviously I'm not......I may think that Geoff is posting about future walks so as to push Snowbirds "alternative walk", down the running order!!
It's a pleasant walk...no coronaries, and something a little different from the usual hikes up and down the hills around Silves.
Come and join us!

Thought you were meant to be in training for the 500 mile trek? What's all this talk about a pleasant walk without the "up & down hills" what are you.........man or mouse ????? Sorry not to have you join us today Mike & Su, but we hope to see you on Bruce & Julia's walk next Monday, March 4th which will be posted this week. Perhaps the following week you have a walk which you can lead, so as to help keep the Carvoeiro Ramblers on their feet.
Re: Walk February 25, Rocha Delica Trail
Will look out for Bruce's walk and think I have pursuaded Mike to organise the next one! (No good at photos though, unless you're happy with the heads chopped off and no names!) Cheers, Su.
Re: Walk February 25, Rocha Delica Trail
Well done Su with your persuasive techniques!! Talked to Bruce and Julia today, and depending on the weather (Monday is not looking good) they may decide to walk another day. Don't worry about photos, Geoff likes to post them, and we have sent him one of our last walk, but they are certainly optional. Hope to see you both soon. Penny
