I can see there have been more than 60 viewings of this post-there must be some people out there who would like to come along to a social knitting/stitching group? Very low key, meet at a cafe or our homes on a weekly basis to chat and stitch-I would love a response!cj

See my post about a book club as I think I may be able to set up group where we combine knitting, stitching and talk books/swap books etc.First get together at Hemingways on Tuesday 10th Januuary 2pm.Ask for Caroline or Carol.

I hope your first meeting was a success. Hopefully I will be able to come to one of your meetings next time we are in Carvoeiro but unfortunately that is unlikely to be before April or May. JackyD

I am going to persevere with this idea.Tuesday afternoons at Hemingways, from 2pm.We sat in the sun last time and knitted and talked books.I am going to put a couple of posters in town and hope the word gets around.
