Chef’s Kitchen

Post by Ellie 2 »

Been there twice now in the month of October. It’s so nice to have more space and very comfortable seating with, on both occasions, lovely food. We were warmly welcomed by Harald and his staff. Prices are slightly up from Ele & Ela, I thought, but the surroundings make it worth it. We wish them well.

We went in early October & really enjoyed the food, the service & the place itself is done to a high specification.

We went in August, service was very slow and the menu wasn't very interesting. As they had only recently opened I hope it was just teething troubles. Its a nice restaurant so hope it does well and will definitely try it again.

We had a good meal there in July. Is the restaurant still open now?

Went for second time in mid October. Busy as always and best to book. Really well designed inside and outside.
Popular with families and couples.
It’s pricey but the food is high quality. The tenderloin and Kofta mains were excellent as was the tempura prawn and smoked mackerel starters.
The staff are well drilled but not too as pushy as reported elsewhere.
Good for a special night out and a special change from the traditional places.
