All seems reletavely quiet on the restuarant front, whats up, very little talk apart from Taste etc

I noticed as I drove past today that the new restaurant/sports bar "the Black Stove" has opened. This is the new build just down the hill from Barclays bank

Still relatively few comments good or bad or whatever from anyone re restuarants. It used to be quite a fast moving section, now its seems to be in snooze mood, compared to some of the other more forthright sections on CVO website

I think we are all posting our reviews on Steens new restaurant site.
Thats fine but I agree with you, we still need to know whats happening with new restaurants and changes and dare I say gossip about the existing ones.

I agree, we have not heard of any menu changes, ownership changes, who is offering specials etc.
O Patio and Ela and Ela are both offering a limited fixed price menu, who else ?
This information could be of real benefit to visitors looking to stretch their holiday euro.

I know Steens site is good, but must admit the thread on this site is easier to understand and comment from and access.

Things must be tough for the restaurants in CVO. I noticed last week that Happys was open for lunch- first time I ever saw that!!

He has been open for lunch since start of the season, told me it was the wife's idea.(his not mine)

Yes he told me the same Sam but also that he wasn't going to carry on as it wasn't worth it especially as the temperatures went up.
