Villa needed in September

Post by jaybee »

Friends of ours who visit Carvoeiro yearly have had their villa taken off the rental market after having booked it some months previous. They are now looking to find a replacement rental for 2 weeks commencing 19 September.

A suitable property will have 4 bedrooms, a private pool and be located in Carvoeiro, within reasonable walking distance to the town centre.

Do you have such a property or know of someone who does?

Thanx all, in advance. :)

They normally rent villas based on personal recommendations - and thought that I might be able to find something suitable from within my circle of contacts, rather than pick one of many from one of the rental websites.

But good thought, nevertheless. :)

Yes I can understand that. What about then asking on the forum about specific villas and any guidance. I do not know anyone with 4 bedrooms so cannot help. I would have thought recommendations speak volumes as well as lots of bookings during the summer months.you can see both on HL's. Best of luck.

Our friends have now been a bit more specific about their requirements -

Modern and spacious, both in an out.
Within walking distance of the village centre.
Comfortable beds. (We all like beds that aren't too firm)
Good quality and comfortable indoor furniture.
Good quality and comfortable outdoor furniture.
Heated pool.
Safe for 1 year-olds.

Jaybee if your friends want to pay for a heated pool in September, then they are mad! However I won't shoot the messenger. My goodness what a lot of wishes, think they may need to climb down from some of those. Basically they are looking for a new or nearly new modern build close to the village with 4 beds.
would have offered 1 week in September but only have 2 bedrooms, so no good for them at all. Also have to say may fail on the 1 year old front if he or she moves about too quick. Have they been to CVO before in this sort of accommodation?
Best of British.

Frequently...

My recollection of the villas they have had are pretty much in line with what they are seeking - problem now being that previous villas they have used are booked for their preferred dates.

Price is less of a concern than spec.

Well that has told me. Had no idea there were that many new modern villas close to town. Good luck.
