spring has (maybe) arrived

Post by sunman »

we've had some nasty weather here these past few weeks, lots of rain and wind,

got up today, we have a beautiful blue sky and the forecast for the week is more of the same,

stop whatever you're doing, book some flights, come to the Algarve, the California of Europe :) :) :)

We haven´t has so much rain that winter. It was just New Year´s Eve, a week in January and last week. We cannot complain that winter and we will still need a little bit of rain.

Bringing my 80 year old mum to CVO for first time so definitely need a little bit of sun to be there to show it off at its best. If you spot her limping up restaurant hill give her a shout and a wave. :D :D

Damn. I didn;t book half term flights this year as the weather didn't look great. Now they are about £230 return which is waaaaay too expensive! Looks fantastic - very envious of all of you who are there at the moment!

it's very disappointing just how much the airlines put the prices up when it's family holiday time isn't it?

Moving out to live in beautiful Carvoeiro in April. Am counting the days as the weather here is still so poor and I dream of that exhilariting feeling of opening the shutters and letting the beautiful sun flood in.

It is - but I must admit if I book early enough then the prices are much much lower. I could have got the flights for £60 return had I booked them last year. So I do blame myself, but at least I know that because I didn't book, the rest of you have been guaranteed the most beautiful weather next week :D
