Anybody been t Chicken Georges on road to Benigal. Ive heard its god value but dont want to make the trip out without hearing an opinion or 2

Chicken George is probably the best kept secret on the Algarve. We have been going there for over 20 years. The menu is very limited so if I were you stick to the Chicken and Chips. Don't be in a hurry as George cooks each order individually - but well worth the wait. Surroundings are fairly basic but clean. Excellent value. Paid less than 20 Euros for a bottle of wine, chicken and chips for two with bread and a tomato and onion salad.
