Hi there, I will be over next week for 2 weeks and heard so many different things about the progression of the works in the Square. Could someone tell me whats going on and how this will affect my stay there?!

Think Mike Chislehurst answered this on the smell in the square thread. Its been thoroughly discussed on there.

Hope I'm right Sarah, this was also the opinion of a couple of bar and restaraunt staff. But I'm 99% sure you shouldn't smell a thing. Anyway, if it is still there, nip up the right hand hill facing the beach to Rascals. Great views and very good snack lunches.

I was just wondering how the sewage project in the square is progressing..has it been finished yet??

All done, very slight whiff every 10 mins or so, drink more! you wont notice the rascal advice is spot on, boss venue now Sergio is on scene

Do not celebrate too quickly, have heard that all is not finished in the square, they have just put things back together for the summer and work will recommence later in the year.

well im just back from holiday and have to say you would not know they had been in the square, its just as i remeber it from last year.

Had a great time, but that may be my last trip for a while, too many countries too little time.

We stayed in Casa Renata which we booked via James Villas, and the villa was fantastic and the company (james villas) very very helpful.

as usual the town and the locals were fantastic.
