went to see amalia the musical currently running at the fabrica ingles in silves until the end of the month. well if you like fado then this is a great show...if not then dont bother.

ticket prices are high ...from 19 to 28 euros...last year it was 5 euros for a dance show, lazer show aqua show, its a good thing inflation is running only at 3 per cent.

the show itself is rather wooden,,very little movement and not much creativity on stage in terms of props...no effects..no wow factor.

it seems to strike a cord with the portuguese...1600 seats every night sold...and were told there is a recession here
